About the Provider

Karen Gentile, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC

Hello fellow parents, it’s great to meet you! I am a Mom, a wife to a firefighter, and I still work in the hospital so I totally get needing flexible care options. My goal is to listen carefully and give you and your child excellent care when you need extra time or specialized care. By meeting you virtually, you don’t have to worry about bundling up your child late at night, or in bad weather, or finding a weekend appointment. I’ve got you covered!

I’ve been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2010 and a Registered Nurse since 2002 and I’ve worked in all areas from the ER to ICU to primary care. I’ve worked all over the U.S. and even worked mission trips in Haiti and Mexico! In the past 14 years, I have developed multiple nutrition programs to help children overcome overweight, obesity, and picky eating. I also love educating families, so I created a pediatric podcast for a previous employer, that podcast can still be heard today!

I am licensed in the state of Colorado, Illinois, and Texas, certified in BLS and PALS, and am board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Colorado is a full-practice authority state for NP’s which means that I can diagnose, treat, and prescribe independently.
